Mentre Rockstar Games continua a mantenere un profondo silenzio su GTA 6, al punto che alcuni fan sembrano essersi davvero stufati, il publisher Take-Two si mostra più ottimista e continua a lasciare indizi sulla possibile data di uscita del gioco.
Ricordiamo che durante l’ultimo report fiscale, il CEO Strauss Zelnick aveva anticipato che l’anno fiscale 2025 sarebbe stato eccezionale: una finestra temporale che va da aprile 2024 a marzo 2025. Considerando le performance promesse, sembrerebbe che questa potrebbe essere la finestra di lancio di GTA 6.
Ma il publisher non si ferma qui con gli indizi sull’erede di Grand Theft Auto V. Come riportato da Xfire, il CEO di Take-Two ha rilasciato un’intervista a CNBC, sottolineando che si aspettano incassi di ben 8 miliardi durante quell’anno fiscale.
Zelnick ha ammesso anche che ci sarà una selezione “robusta di titoli” in arrivo durante l’anno fiscale 2025, ma è evidente che l’unica serie in grado di raggiungere cifre del genere è proprio Grand Theft Auto, senza voler togliere merito agli altri grandi franchise di Take-Two.
Il CEO stesso non nasconde che GTA 6 è uno dei giochi più attesi di sempre, quindi diventa quasi impossibile non fare un collegamento proprio con l’anno fiscale in questione, che diventa una finestra di lancio particolarmente credibile.
Tuttavia, finché non arriverà una conferma ufficiale in merito, l’unico commento che possiamo fare è di prendere il tutto con le dovute precauzioni. Ma l’attesa per il prossimo capitolo della serie open world di Rockstar Games sembra essere arrivata a un punto di svolta.
Un annuncio ufficiale servirebbe anche a placare l’ansia dei fan in attesa, e magari ad allontanare eventuali disturbatori che si sono fatti vivi anche alla Gamescom.
